Rental Policies

Rental Payment Policy:

In order to secure your reservation for a one week stay, the full rental balance is due upon signing of the lease. In order to secure your reservation of two or more weeks, half of the full rental amount is due upon signing of the lease and the remaining half is required 45 days prior to occupancy. The security deposit is due 30 days prior to occupancy.


In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us immediately and follow up in writing. The deposit will not be refunded unless Chatham Real Estate, LLC is able to rent the premises for the specified period of time; however the 15% commission will be deducted from the deposit.

Check In/Check Out:

Check in time is 3:00pm and you may pick the keys up at our office. If you will be arriving after 5:00pm, please notify us so we can make arrangements for you to pick up your keys. Check out time is 10:00am. Please, no exceptions.

Linens and Towels:

Our rentals do not include linens and towels. You are responsible for your own linens and towels. Please contact your agent if you would like a referral for a local linen supplier.

Cleaning Policy:

All of our rental properties are professionally cleaned before and after every rental at the tenant's expense. The fee varies depending on the home rented and the fee will be deducted from the security deposit. The specifics will be outlined in the lease.


Most of our rentals do not allow pets. The owner may still have had a pet in the residence. We can make no guarantee for an allergen-free home.


Smoking is not permitted in ANY of our rental properties. If there is evidence that smoking has occurred inside a non-smoking rental property you will be charged an additional cleaning and ionization fee. This is a very serious offense and our policy is strictly enforced!
